மநோ காமநா ஸித்த கர புரவஹு மேரீ ஆஸ ॥

ஸிம்து ஸுதா விஷ்ணுப்ரியே நத ஶிர பாரம்பார ।
ரு'த்தி ஸித்தி மம்கலப்ரதே நத ஶிர பாரம்பார ॥ டேக ॥
O daughter of the ocean, beloved of Vishnu, I bow my head repeatedly. O bestower of prosperity, accomplishments, and auspiciousness, I bow my head repeatedly.
ஸிந்து ஸுதா மைம் ஸுமிரௌம் தோஹீ । ஜ்ஞாந புத்தி வித்யா தோ மோஹி ॥
O daughter of the ocean, I remember you. Grant me knowledge, intelligence, and wisdom.
தும ஸமாந நஹிம் கோஈ உபகாரீ । ஸப விதி புரபஹு ஆஸ ஹமாரீ ॥
There is no benefactor equal to you. Fulfill our hopes in every way.
ஜை ஜை ஜகத ஜநநி ஜகதம்பா । ஸபகே துமஹீ ஹோ ஸ்வலம்பா ॥
Victory, victory to the Mother of the world, Jagadamba. You alone are the support of everyone.
தும ஹீ ஹோ கட கட கே வாஸீ । விநதீ யஹீ ஹமாரீ காஸீ ॥
You alone reside in every heart. This is my special prayer to you.
ஜக ஜநநீ ஜய ஸிந்து குமாரீ । தீநந கீ தும ஹோ ஹிதகாரீ ॥
Victory to the mother of the world, daughter of the ocean. You are the benefactor of the destitute.
விநவௌம் நித்ய துமஹிம் மஹாராநீ । க்ரு'பா கரௌ ஜக ஜநநி பவாநீ ॥
I pray to you daily, O great queen. Bestow your grace, O mother of the world, Bhavani.
கேஹி விதி ஸ்துதி கரௌம் திஹாரீ । ஸுதி லீஜை அபராத பிஸாரீ ॥
How should I sing your praises? Remember me and forget my offenses.
க்ரு'பா த்ரு'ஷ்டி சிதவோ மம ஓரீ । ஜகத ஜநநி விநதீ ஸுந மோரீ ॥
Cast a glance of grace towards me. O mother of the world, listen to my prayer.
ஜ்ஞாந புத்தி ஜய ஸுக கீ தாதா । ஸம்கட ஹரோ ஹமாரீ மாதா ॥
O giver of knowledge, intelligence, victory, and happiness, O Mother, remove our afflictions.
க்ஷீர ஸிம்து ஜப விஷ்ணு மதாயோ । சௌதஹ ரத்ந ஸிம்து மேம் பாயோ ॥
When Vishnu churned the milky ocean, fourteen gems were found in the ocean.
சௌதஹ ரத்ந மேம் தும ஸுகராஸீ । ஸேவா கியோ ப்ரபுஹிம் பநி தாஸீ ॥
Among the fourteen gems, you are the mine of happiness. You became a servant and served the Lord.
ஜப ஜப ஜந்ம ஜஹாம் ப்ரபு லீந்ஹா । ரூப பதல தஹம் ஸேவா கீந்ஹா ॥
Wherever and whenever the Lord took birth, you changed your form and served Him there.
ஸ்வயம் விஷ்ணு ஜப நர தநு தாரா । லீந்ஹேஉ அவதபுரீ அவதாரா ॥
When Vishnu Himself took a human form and incarnated in the city of Ayodhya...
தப தும ப்ரகட ஜநகபுர மாஹீம் । ஸேவா கியோ ஹ்ரு'தய புலகாஹீம் ॥
Then you manifested in Janakpur and served Him, your heart thrilled with joy.
அபநாயோ தோஹி அந்தர்யாமீ । விஶ்வ விதித த்ரிபுவந கீ ஸ்வாமீ ॥
The knower of hearts (Vishnu) adopted you, the globally renowned Lord of the three worlds.
தும ஸப ப்ரபல ஶக்தி நஹிம் ஆநீ । கஹँ தக மஹிமா கஹௌம் பகாநீ ॥
Your great power is unparalleled. How far can I describe your glory?
மந க்ரம வசந கரை ஸேவகாஈ । மந-இச்சித வாம்சித பல பாஈ ॥
Whoever serves you with mind, deeds, and words, attains their desired fruits.
தஜி சல கபட ஔர சதுராஈ । பூஜஹிம் விவித பாँதி மந லாஈ ॥
Abandoning deceit, fraud, and cleverness, those who worship you in various ways with a focused mind...
ஔர ஹால மைம் கஹௌம் புசாஈ । ஜோ யஹ பாட கரே மந லாஈ ॥
And I will explain another state: whoever recites this text with a focused mind...
தாகோ கோஈ கஷ்ட ந ஹோஈ । மந இச்சித பல பாவை பல ஸோஈ ॥
No distress will come to them, and they will attain the exact desired fruit.
த்ராஹி-த்ராஹி ஜய துஃக நிவாரிணீ । த்ரிவித தாப பவ பம்தந ஹாரிணி ॥
Save me, save me, O destroyer of sorrows! Victory to the destroyer of the three types of miseries and worldly bonds!
ஜோ யஹ சாலீஸா பட़ே ஔர பட़ாவே । இஸே த்யாந லகாகர ஸுநே ஸுநாவை ॥
Whoever reads or makes others read this Chalisa, or listens or makes others listen to it attentively...
தாகோ கோஈ ந ரோக ஸதாவை । புத்ர ஆதி தந ஸம்பத்தி பாவை ॥
No disease will ever trouble them; they will attain children, wealth, and property.
புத்ர ஹீந ஔர ஸம்பத்தி ஹீநா । அந்தா பதிர கோட़ீ அதி தீநா ॥
Those who are sonless, devoid of wealth, blind, deaf, leprous, or extremely destitute...
விப்ர போலாய கை பாட கராவை । ஶம்கா தில மேம் கபீ ந லாவை ॥
Should call a Brahmin and have this recited, never bringing any doubt into their heart.
பாட கராவை திந சாலீஸா । தா பர க்ரு'பா கரைம் கௌரீஸா ॥
If one has it recited for forty days, the Lord of Gauri (Shiva) will bestow grace upon them.
ஸுக ஸம்பத்தி பஹுத ஸீ பாவை । கமீ நஹீம் காஹூ கீ ஆவை ॥
They will attain immense happiness and wealth, and no shortage will ever come to them.
பாரஹ மாஸ கரை ஜோ பூஜா । தேஹி ஸம தந்ய ஔர நஹிம் தூஜா ॥
Whoever performs worship for twelve months, there is no one else as blessed as them.
ப்ரதிதிந பாட கரை மந மாஹீம் । உந ஸம கோஈ ஜக மேம் நாஹிம் ॥
Whoever recites it daily in their mind, there is no one like them in the world.
பஹு விதி க்யா மைம் கரௌம் பட़ாஈ । லேய பரீக்ஷா த்யாந லகாஈ ॥
How much more can I praise you in various ways? Take a test by focusing your mind.
கரி விஶ்வாஸ கரைம் வ்ரத நேமா । ஹோய ஸித்த உபஜை உர ப்ரேமா ॥
Perform vows and rules with faith, it will become successful and love will arise in the heart.
ஜய ஜய ஜய லக்ஷ்மீ மஹாராநீ । ஸப மேம் வ்யாபித ஜோ குண காநீ ॥
Victory, victory, victory to the great queen Lakshmi, who is the mine of virtues pervading in all.
தும்ஹரோ தேஜ ப்ரபல ஜக மாஹீம் । தும ஸம கோஉ தயால கஹூँ நாஹீம் ॥
Your radiance is powerful in the world; there is no one as merciful as you anywhere.
மோஹி அநாத கீ ஸுதி அப லீஜை । ஸம்கட காடி பக்தி மோஹி தீஜே ॥
Now, please take care of me, an orphan. Remove my distress and grant me devotion.
பூல சூக கரீ க்ஷமா ஹமாரீ । தர்ஶந தீஜை தஶா நிஹாரீ ॥
Forgive our mistakes and omissions. Give me your vision, observing my state.
பிந தரஶந வ்யாகுல அதிகாரீ । துமஹிம் அக்ஷத துஃக ஸஹதே பாரீ ॥
Without your vision, this rightful one is restless. Remaining intact, I am bearing immense sorrow.
நஹிம் மோஹிம் ஜ்ஞாந புத்தி ஹை தந மேம் । ஸப ஜாநத ஹோ அபநே மந மேம் ॥
There is no knowledge or intelligence in my body, but you know everything in your own mind.
ரூப சதுர்புஜ கரகே தாரண । கஷ்ட மோர அப கரஹு நிவாரண ॥
Taking a four-armed form, please relieve my distress now.
கஹி ப்ரகார மைம் கரௌம் பட़ாஈ । ஜ்ஞாந புத்தி மோஹிம் நஹிம் அதிகாஈ ॥
In what ways can I praise you? I do not have much knowledge and intelligence.
ராமதாஸ அப கஹை புகாரீ । கரோ தூர தும விபதி ஹமாரீ ॥
Ramadas now calls out: Please remove our calamities.
த்ராஹி த்ராஹி துஃக ஹாரிணீ ஹரோ பேகி ஸப த்ராஸ ।
ஜயதி ஜயதி ஜய லக்ஷ்மீ கரோ ஶத்ருந கா நாஶ ॥
Save me, save me, O destroyer of sorrow, quickly remove all fears! Victory, victory, victory to Lakshmi, destroy the enemies!
ராமதாஸ தரி த்யாந நித விநய கரத கர ஜோர ।
