ସରସ୍ଵତୀଦ୍ଵାଦଶନାମସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍

I bow to Saraswati, who holds the Veena and a book, who rides on a swan, and who grants me knowledge.

First is Bharati, second is Saraswati, third is Goddess Sharada, fourth is Hansavahini (rider of the swan).

Fifth is Jagati-khyata (renowned in the world), sixth is Vaneshwari (Goddess of Speech). Seventh is called Kaumari, eighth is Brahmacharini.

Ninth is Buddhidatri (bestower of intellect), tenth is Varadayini (bestower of boons). Eleventh is Kshudraghanta, twelfth is Bhuvaneshwari.

The person who reads these twelve names of Brahmi (Saraswati) at the three junctions of the day, to him the Supreme Goddess becomes pleased and grants all perfections. May that Saraswati, the form of Brahman, reside on the tip of my tongue.

Thus ends the Saraswati Dwadasa Nama Stotram.
