श्री हनुमत्सहस्रनाम स्तोत्रम्
अस्य श्रीहनुमत्सहस्रनामस्तोत्रमहामन्त्रस्य श्रीरामचन्द्र ऋषिः अनुष्टुप्छन्दः श्रीहनुमान्महारुद्रो
देवता ह्रीं श्रीं ह्रौं ह्रां बीजं श्रीं इति शक्तिः किलिकिल बुबु कारेण इति कीलकं
लङ्काविध्वंसनेति कवचं मम सर्वोपद्रवशान्त्यर्थे मम सर्वकार्यसिद्ध्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः ।
For this great mantra of Sri Hanuman Sahasranama Stotram, Sri Ramachandra is the Rishi, Anushtup is the Chhanda (meter), Sri Hanuman, the great Rudra, is the deity; Hrim, Srim, Hraum, Hram is the Bija; Srim is the Shakti; Kilikila Bubukarena is the Kilakam; Lankavidhvamsana is the Kavacham; I invoke this for the pacification of all my afflictions and for the accomplishment of all my works.
ध्यानम् -
प्रतप्तस्वर्णवर्णाभं संरक्तारुणलोचनम् ।
सुग्रीवादियुतं ध्यायेत् पीताम्बरसमावृतम् ॥
One should meditate upon Him who has the radiance of molten gold, whose eyes are reddish-crimson, who is surrounded by Sugriva and others, and who is adorned with yellow garments.
गोष्पदीकृतवाराशिं पुच्छमस्तकमीश्वरम् ।
ज्ञानमुद्रां च बिभ्राणं सर्वालङ्कारभूषितम् ॥
He who turned the vast ocean into a mere footprint, who has his tail as his crest, who is the Lord, who bears the Jnana-mudra (gesture of knowledge), and who is adorned with all ornaments.
वामहस्तसमाकृष्टदशास्याननमण्डलम् ।
उद्यद्दक्षिणदोर्दण्डं हनूमन्तं विचिन्तयेत् ॥
I meditate upon Hanuman, who with His left hand has pulled the face of the ten-headed (Ravana), and whose right arm is raised aloft.
स्तोत्रं -
हनूमान् श्रीप्रदो वायुपुत्रो रुद्रो नयोऽजरः ।
अमृत्युर्वीरवीरश्च ग्रामवासो जनाश्रयः ॥ १ ॥
Hanuman, the bestower of auspiciousness, the son of Vayu (the Wind God), the embodiment of Rudra, the master of wisdom, the ageless one, the deathless one, the hero of heroes, the dweller of the village, and the refuge of the people.
धनदो निर्गुणाकारो वीरो निधिपतिर्मुनिः ।
पिङ्गाक्षो वरदो वाग्मी सीताशोकविनाशनः ॥ २ ॥
The bestower of wealth, the formless one, the brave, the lord of treasures, the sage, the golden-eyed one, the giver of boons, the eloquent one, the destroyer of Sita's sorrow.
शिवः शर्वः परोऽव्यक्तो व्यक्ताव्यक्तो धराधरः ।
पिङ्गकेशः पिङ्गरोमा श्रुतिगम्यः सनातनः ॥ ३ ॥
Shiva, Sharva, the Supreme, the Unmanifest, the Manifest-Unmanifest, the Bearer of the Earth, the tawny-haired, the tawny-furred, He who is attainable through the Vedas, the Eternal.
अनादिर्भगवान् दिव्यो विश्वहेतुर्नराश्रयः ।
आरोग्यकर्ता विश्वेशो विश्वनाथो हरीश्वरः ॥ ४ ॥
He is beginningless, the Lord, the divine one, the cause of the universe, and the refuge of humanity. He is the bestower of health, the Lord of the universe, the master of the world, and the Lord of the monkeys.
भर्गो रामो रामभक्तः कल्याणप्रकृतीश्वरः ।
विश्वम्भरो विश्वमूर्तिर्विश्वाकारोऽथ विश्वपः ॥ ५ ॥
The effulgent one, Rama, the devotee of Rama, the lord of auspicious nature, the sustainer of the universe, the embodiment of the universe, the form of the universe, and the protector of the universe.
विश्वात्मा विश्वसेव्योऽथ विश्वो विश्वधरो रविः ।
विश्वचेष्टो विश्वगम्यो विश्वध्येयः कलाधरः ॥ ६ ॥
The Soul of the Universe, worshipped by the universe, the universe itself, the supporter of the universe, the sun, the mover of the universe, the one attainable by the universe, the object of meditation for the universe, the one who holds the digits of the moon.
प्लवङ्गमः कपिश्रेष्ठो ज्येष्ठो वेद्यो वनेचरः ।
बालो वृद्धो युवा तत्त्वं तत्त्वगम्यः सखा ह्यजः ॥ ७ ॥
He who leaps (Plavangama), the best of monkeys, the eldest, the knower, the wanderer of the forest, the child, the old, the youth, the truth, the one reachable by truth, the friend, and the unborn.
अञ्जनासूनुरव्यग्रो ग्रामस्यान्तो धराधरः ।
भूर्भुवःस्वर्महर्लोको जनोलोकस्तपोऽव्ययः ॥ ८ ॥
The son of Anjana, the unfaltering one, the dweller at the edge of the village, the supporter of the earth; he who embodies the worlds of Bhuh, Bhuvah, Svah, Mahah, Janah, Tapah, and the imperishable one.
सत्यमोङ्कारगम्यश्च प्रणवो व्यापकोऽमलः ।
शिवधर्मप्रतिष्ठाता रामेष्टः फाल्गुनप्रियः ॥ ९ ॥
He who is Truth, he who is attained through the Omkara, the Pranava (the primordial sound), the all-pervading, the stainless. He who is the establisher of righteousness, the beloved of Rama, and dear to Phalguna (Arjuna).
गोष्पदीकृतवारीशः पूर्णकामो धरापतिः ।
रक्षोघ्नः पुण्डरीकाक्षः शरणागतवत्सलः ॥ १० ॥
He who made the ocean like the hoof-print of a cow, whose desires are fulfilled, the lord of the earth, the destroyer of demons, the lotus-eyed one, and the one who is affectionate to those who seek refuge.
जानकीप्राणदाता च रक्षःप्राणापहारकः ।
पूर्णः सत्यः पीतवासा दिवाकरसमप्रभः ॥ ११ ॥
He who is the giver of life to Janki (Sita), the destroyer of the life of the Rakshasas, the complete one, the truth, the one wearing yellow garments, and possessed of the splendor of the sun.
द्रोणहर्ता शक्तिनेता शक्तिराक्षसमारकः ।
अक्षघ्नो रामदूतश्च शाकिनीजीविताहरः ॥ १२ ॥
The remover of Mount Drona, the bearer of the Shakti weapon, the slayer of the Shakti-wielding demon, the slayer of Aksha, the messenger of Rama, and the destroyer of the life of Shakinīs.
बुभूकारहतारातिर्गर्वपर्वतमर्दनः ।
हेतुस्त्वहेतुः प्रांशुश्च विश्वकर्ता जगद्गुरुः ॥ १३ ॥
He who destroys enemies with the sound of 'Bhu', he who crushes the mountain of pride, he who is the cause and the causeless, he who is tall (lofty), the creator of the universe, and the teacher of the world.
जगन्नाथो जगन्नेता जगदीशो जनेश्वरः ।
जगत्श्रितो हरिः श्रीशो गरुडस्मयभञ्जकः ॥ १४ ॥
Lord of the universe, leader of the universe, ruler of the universe, lord of the people, shelter of the universe, Hari, lord of Sri (Lakshmi), and the destroyer of Garuda's pride.
पार्थध्वजो वायुपुत्रः सितपुच्छोऽमितप्रभः ।
ब्रह्मपुच्छः परब्रह्मपुच्छो रामेष्टकारकः ॥ १५ ॥
He whose banner bears the emblem of Arjuna, the son of Vayu, he who has a white tail, he who possesses immeasurable splendor, he whose source is Brahman, the tail (support) of the Supreme Brahman, and he who fulfills the wishes of Rama.
सुग्रीवादियुतो ज्ञानी वानरो वानरेश्वरः ।
कल्पस्थायी चिरञ्जीवी प्रसन्नश्च सदाशिवः ॥ १६ ॥
Accompanied by Sugriva and others, the wise one, the monkey, the Lord of monkeys, abiding for the duration of a Kalpa, the immortal, the graceful one, and the eternally auspicious one.
सन्मतिः सद्गतिर्भुक्तिमुक्तिदः कीर्तिदायकः ।
कीर्तिः कीर्तिप्रदश्चैव समुद्रः श्रीप्रदः शिवः ॥ १७ ॥
He is the bestower of righteous intellect, good destination, worldly enjoyment, and liberation; he is the bestower of fame, he is fame itself, he is the granter of glory, he is like the ocean, he is the bestower of prosperity, and he is auspiciousness itself.
उदधिक्रमणो देवः संसारभयनाशनः ।
वालिबन्धनकृद्विश्वजेता विश्वप्रतिष्ठितः ॥ १८ ॥
The god who crossed the ocean, the destroyer of the fear of worldly existence, the one who bound Vali, the conqueror of the universe, and the one who is established in the universe.
लङ्कारिः कालपुरुषो लङ्केशगृहभञ्जनः ।
भूतावासो वासुदेवो वसुस्त्रिभुवनेश्वरः ॥ १९ ॥
The enemy of Lanka, the Lord of Time, the destroyer of the palace of the King of Lanka, the dwelling place of all living beings, the indweller of all (Vasudeva), the repository of wealth, and the Lord of the three worlds.
श्रीरामरूपः कृष्णस्तु लङ्काप्रासादभञ्जनः ।
कृष्णः कृष्णस्तुतः शान्तः शान्तिदो विश्वभावनः ॥ २० ॥
He who has the form of Sri Rama, who is Krishna (the dark-complexioned one), the destroyer of the palaces of Lanka; who is Krishna (the attractive one), praised by Krishna, peaceful, the bestower of peace, and the creator of the universe.
विश्वभोक्ताऽथ मारघ्नो ब्रह्मचारी जितेन्द्रियः ।
ऊर्ध्वगो लाङ्गुली माली लाङ्गूलाहतराक्षसः ॥ २१ ॥
The consumer of the universe, the slayer of death, the celibate, the conqueror of the senses, the one who ascends upwards, the possessor of a tail, the one adorned with a garland, and the one who destroys demons with his tail.
समीरतनुजो वीरो वीरमारो जयप्रदः ।
जगन्मङ्गलदः पुण्यः पुण्यश्रवणकीर्तनः ॥ २२ ॥
The son of the wind god, the heroic one, the killer of demons, the bestower of victory; the one who brings auspiciousness to the world, the holy one, and the one whose hearing and chanting (of his name) is meritorious.
पुण्यकीर्तिः पुण्यगीतिर्जगत्पावनपावनः ।
देवेशोऽमितरोमाऽथ रामभक्तविधायकः ॥ २३ ॥
Of holy fame, of holy song, the purifier of the world’s purifiers, the Lord of the Devas, the one with infinite hair, and the establisher of devotion to Rama.
ध्याता ध्येयो जगत्साक्षी चेता चैतन्यविग्रहः ।
ज्ञानदः प्राणदः प्राणो जगत्प्राणः समीरणः ॥ २४ ॥
The one who is meditated upon, the one who is the object of meditation, the witness of the universe, the consciousness, the embodiment of pure consciousness, the bestower of knowledge, the giver of life, the life-force, the life of the universe, and the wind-god.
विभीषणप्रियः शूरः पिप्पलाश्रयसिद्धिदः ।
सिद्धः सिद्धाश्रयः कालः कालभक्षकपूजितः ॥ २५ ॥
He who is dear to Vibhishana, the valiant one, the bestower of success to those who seek refuge under the Peepal tree, the accomplished one, the shelter of the accomplished, time itself, and he who is worshipped by the destroyer of time (Shiva).
लङ्केशनिधनस्थायी लङ्कादाहक ईश्वरः ।
चन्द्रसूर्याग्निनेत्रश्च कालाग्निः प्रलयान्तकः ॥ २६ ॥
He who dwells in the destruction of the Lord of Lanka, the burner of Lanka, the Supreme Lord; He whose eyes are the moon, sun, and fire, the fire of time, the ender of the dissolution.
कपिलः कपिशः पुण्यरातिर्द्वादशराशिगः ।
सर्वाश्रयोऽप्रमेयात्मा रेवत्यादिनिवारकः ॥ २७ ॥
He who is of tawny hue, who is reddish-brown, who is the bestower of merit, who abides in the twelve zodiac signs, who is the support of all, whose nature is immeasurable, and who is the warder off of Revati and other (inauspicious stars).
लक्ष्मणप्राणदाता च सीताजीवनहेतुकः ।
रामध्यायी हृषीकेशो विष्णुभक्तो जटी बली ॥ २८ ॥
He who saved the life of Lakshmana, he who is the cause of Sita's life, he who constantly meditates on Rama, he who is the master of the senses, he who is a devotee of Vishnu, he who has matted hair, and he who is powerful.
देवारिदर्पहा होता धाता कर्ता जगत्प्रभुः ।
नगरग्रामपालश्च शुद्धो बुद्धो निरन्तरः ॥ २९ ॥
He who destroys the pride of the enemies of the gods, the invoker of sacrifices, the supporter, the creator, the Lord of the universe, the protector of cities and villages, the pure, the enlightened, and the eternal.
निरञ्जनो निर्विकल्पो गुणातीतो भयङ्करः ।
हनुमांश्च दुराराध्यस्तपःसाध्यो महेश्वरः ॥ ३० ॥
He who is taintless, immutable, beyond the three qualities (gunas), and formidable; he who is Hanuman, difficult to be propitiated, attained through penance, and the Supreme Lord.
जानकीघनशोकोत्थतापहर्ता पराशरः ।
वाङ्मयः सदसद्रूपः कारणं प्रकृतेः परः ॥ ३१ ॥
He who removes the intense sorrow arising from the separation from Janaki (Sita), the son of Parashara (or the destroyer of enemies), he who is the embodiment of speech, he who exists in the form of both truth and untruth, he who is the cause of all, and he who is beyond Prakriti (nature).
भाग्यदो निर्मलो नेता पुच्छलङ्काविदाहकः ।
पुच्छबद्धो यातुधानो यातुधानरिपुप्रियः ॥ ३२ ॥
The bestower of fortune, the pure one, the leader, the burner of Lanka with his tail, the one who bound the demons with his tail, and the beloved of the enemy of the demons (Rama).
छायापहारी भूतेशो लोकेशः सद्गतिप्रदः ।
प्लवङ्गेश्वरः क्रोधः क्रोधसंरक्तलोचनः ॥ ३३ ॥
He who steals the shadows, the Lord of all beings, the Lord of the worlds, the bestower of the ultimate destination, the King of the monkeys, the embodiment of wrath, and He whose eyes are reddened with anger.
क्रोधहर्ता तापहर्ता भक्ताभयवरप्रदः ।
भक्तानुकम्पी विश्वेशः पुरुहूतः पुरन्दरः ॥ ३४ ॥
He who removes anger, he who removes distress, he who bestows the boon of fearlessness upon his devotees, he who is compassionate to his devotees, the Lord of the universe, he who is invoked by many, and the destroyer of the cities of the enemies.
अग्निर्विभावसुर्भास्वान् यमो निर्ऋतिरेव च ।
वरुणो वायुगतिमान् वायुः कुबेर ईश्वरः ॥ ३५ ॥
Agni (the Fire god), Vibhavasu (the Sun), Bhāsvān (the luminous one), Yama (the Lord of Death), Nirṛti, Varuṇa (the Lord of Waters), Vāyugatimān (the one who possesses the speed of the wind), Vāyu (the Wind god), Kubera (the Lord of Wealth), and Īśvara (the Lord).
रविश्वन्द्रः कुजः सौम्यो गुरुः काव्यः शनैश्चरः ।
राहुः केतुर्मरुद्धाता धाता हर्ता समीरजः ॥ ३६ ॥
The Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, the sustainer of the winds, the creator, the destroyer, and the son of the wind.
मशकीकृतदेवारिर्दैत्यारिमधुसूदनः ।
कामः कपिः कामपालः कपिलो विश्वजीवनः ॥ ३७ ॥
He who turned the enemies of the gods into mosquitoes, the slayer of demons, the destroyer of the demon Madhu, the fulfiller of desires, the monkey, the protector of desires, the tawny-colored one, and the life of the universe.
भागीरथीपदाम्भोजः सेतुबन्धविशारदः ।
स्वाहा स्वधा हविः कव्यं हव्यवाहः प्रकाशकः ॥ ३८ ॥
He whose lotus feet are the Bhagirathi (Ganga), who is expert in constructing the bridge (Setu), who is Svaha, Svadha, the oblation (Havis), the food offered to the ancestors (Kavya), the carrier of oblations (Agni), and the illuminator.
स्वप्रकाशो महावीरो मधुरोऽमितविक्रमः ।
उड्डीनोड्डीनगतिमान् सद्गतिः पुरुषोत्तमः ॥ ३९ ॥
He who is self-effulgent, the great hero, the sweet one, possessor of immeasurable prowess, he who leaps and leaps again, he who is of swift movement, the bestower of the right path, and the supreme person.
जगदात्मा जगद्योनिर्जगदन्तो ह्यनन्तरः ।
विपाप्मा निष्कलङ्कोऽथ महान् महदहङ्कृतिः ॥ ४० ॥
The Soul of the universe, the source of the universe, the end of the universe, and the Infinite. Sinless, stainless, the Great One, and the ego of the great.
खं वायुः पृथिवी चापो वह्निर्दिङ् काल एकलः ।
क्षेत्रज्ञः क्षेत्रपालश्च पल्वलीकृतसागरः ॥ ४१ ॥
Ether, air, earth, water, fire, space, time, and the One; the knower of the field, the protector of the field, and the One who made the ocean a mere puddle.
हिरण्मयः पुराणश्च खेचरो भूचरो मनुः ।
हिरण्यगर्भः सूत्रात्मा राजराजो विशां पतिः ॥ ४२ ॥
He is of golden form, ancient, moving in the sky, moving on the earth, and the primal teacher (Manu). He is the creator (Hiranyagarbha), the soul of the cosmic thread (Sutratma), the king of kings, and the lord of the people.
वेदान्तवेद्य उद्गीथो वेदाङ्गो वेदपारगः ।
प्रतिग्रामस्थितः सद्यः स्फूर्तिदाता गुणाकरः ॥ ४३ ॥
The one who is known through Vedanta, the one who is the embodiment of Udgitha, the one whose limbs are the Vedas, and the one who has mastered the Vedas; the one who resides in every village, the one who grants immediate realization, and the mine of all virtues.
नक्षत्रमाली भूतात्मा सुरभिः कल्पपादपः ।
चिन्तामणिर्गुणनिधिः प्रजाद्वारमनुत्तमः ॥ ४४ ॥
He who is adorned with stars, the soul of all beings, the celestial cow (Surabhi), the wish-fulfilling tree, the wish-fulfilling gem (Chintamani), the repository of all virtues, the gateway to all living beings, and the most supreme.
पुण्यश्लोकः पुरारातिः मतिमान् शर्वरीपतिः ।
किल्किलारावसन्त्रस्तभूतप्रेतपिशाचकः ॥ ४५ ॥
He whose fame is sanctifying, he who is the destroyer of the cities (Tripura), the wise one, the lord of the night (the moon-faced one). He whose kilkila (joyous/fierce) roar terrifies ghosts, spirits, and goblins.
ऋणत्रयहरः सूक्ष्मः स्थूलः सर्वगतिः पुमान् ।
अपस्मारहरः स्मर्ता श्रुतिर्गाथा स्मृतिर्मनुः ॥ ४६ ॥
He who removes the three debts, the subtle, the gross, the omnipresent, the Supreme Person. He who cures epilepsy (and forgetfulness), the rememberer, the Vedas, the hymns, the scriptures, and the eternal law.
स्वर्गद्वारं प्रजाद्वारं मोक्षद्वारं यतीश्वरः ।
नादरूपं परं ब्रह्म ब्रह्म ब्रह्मपुरातनः ॥ ४७ ॥
He is the gateway to heaven, the gateway to the world, and the gateway to liberation; He is the Lord of ascetics. He is the embodiment of sound, the supreme Brahman, and the ancient primordial Brahman.
एकोऽनेको जनः शुक्लः स्वयञ्ज्योतिरनाकुलः ।
ज्योतिर्ज्योतिरनादिश्च सात्त्विको राजसस्तमः ॥ ४८ ॥
One, many, the people, white (pure), self-effulgent, undisturbed. The light of lights, beginningless, and the embodiment of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas.
तमोहर्ता निरालम्बो निराकारो गुणाकरः ।
गुणाश्रयो गुणमयो बृहत्कायो बृहद्यशाः ॥ ४९ ॥
The destroyer of darkness, the supportless One, the formless One, the mine of virtues, the refuge of virtues, the embodiment of virtues, the one with a massive body, and the one of immense fame.
बृहद्धनुर्बृहत्पादो बृहन्मूर्धा बृहत्स्वनः ।
बृहत्कर्णो बृहन्नासो बृहद्बाहुर्बृहत्तनुः ॥ ५० ॥
He who has a massive bow, massive feet, a massive head, and a massive voice; he who has massive ears, a massive nose, massive arms, and a massive body.
बृहद्गलो बृहत्कायो बृहत्पुच्छो बृहत्करः ।
बृहद्गतिर्बृहत्सेवो बृहल्लोकफलप्रदः ॥ ५१ ॥
With a massive throat, a massive body, a massive tail, and massive hands; of massive gait, massive in service, and the bestower of the fruits of the vast worlds.
बृहच्छक्तिर्बृहद्वाञ्छाफलदो बृहदीश्वरः ।
बृहल्लोकनुतो द्रष्टा विद्यादाता जगद्गुरुः ॥ ५२ ॥
He who possesses immense power, the granter of the fruits of great desires, the supreme Lord, praised by the great worlds, the Seer, the bestower of knowledge, and the teacher of the universe.
देवाचार्यः सत्यवादी ब्रह्मवादी कलाधरः ।
सप्तपातालगामी च मलयाचलसंश्रयः ॥ ५३ ॥
The preceptor of the gods, the speaker of truth, the expounder of Brahman, the master of arts, the one who traverses the seven nether worlds, and the one who resides on the Malaya Mountain.
उत्तराशास्थितः श्रीशो दिव्यौषधिवशः खगः ।
शाखामृगः कपीन्द्रोऽथ पुराणः प्राणचञ्चुरः ॥ ५४ ॥
Residing in the northern direction, the Lord of Sri (Lakshmi), controlled by divine herbs, the one who moves in the sky, the monkey, the king of monkeys, the ancient one, and the one whose life is breath.
चतुरो ब्राह्मणो योगी योगिगम्यः परोऽवरः ।
अनादिनिधनो व्यासो वैकुण्ठः पृथिवीपतिः ॥ ५५ ॥
The eloquent one, the Brahmana, the Yogi, the one attainable by yogis, the transcendent and the immanent, the one without beginning or end, the all-pervading, the Lord of Vaikuntha, the Lord of the Earth.
अपराजितो जितारातिः सदानन्दद ईशिता ।
गोपालो गोपतिर्योद्धा कलिः स्फालः परात्परः ॥ ५६ ॥
The Unconquered, the Conqueror of enemies, the Ever-Blissful, the Controller, the Protector of cows, the Lord of cows, the Warrior, the Time (Kala), the Radiant, and the Supreme of the supreme.
मनोवेगी सदायोगी संसारभयनाशनः ।
तत्त्वदाताऽथ तत्त्वज्ञस्तत्त्वं तत्त्वप्रकाशकः ॥ ५७ ॥
Swift as the mind, the eternal yogi, the destroyer of the fear of worldly existence. The bestower of Truth, the knower of Truth, the Reality, and the illuminator of Truth.
शुद्धो बुद्धो नित्ययुक्तो भक्ताकारो जगद्रथः ।
प्रलयोऽमितमायश्च मायातीतो विमत्सरः ॥ ५८ ॥
Pure, enlightened, eternally united, the embodiment of devotion, the chariot of the world, the dissolution, of immeasurable illusion, beyond illusion, and free from jealousy.
मायानिर्जितरक्षाश्च मायानिर्मितविष्टपः ।
मायाश्रयश्च निर्लेपो मायानिर्वर्तकः सुखी ॥ ५९ ॥
He who has conquered the demons by His divine illusion, He who has created the worlds through His divine illusion, He who is the resort of divine illusion, He who is untainted, He who is the ordainer of divine illusion, and He who is ever blissful.
सुखं सुखप्रदो नागो महेशकृतसंस्तवः ।
महेश्वरः सत्यसन्धः शरभः कलिपावनः ॥ ६० ॥
He who is happiness personified, the giver of happiness, the serpent (in the form of Ananta), the one praised by Lord Maheshwara, the Great Lord, the one who is firm in his vow of truth, the one who takes the form of Sharabha, and the purifier of the Kali age.
रसो रसज्ञः सन्मानो रूपं चक्षुः श्रुती रवः ।
घ्राणं गन्धः स्पर्शनं च स्पर्शो हिङ्कारमानगः ॥ ६१ ॥
(He is) the essence, the knower of essence, the one who is honored, the form, the eye, the sound of the Vedas, the sense of smell, the scent, the sense of touch, the touch, and the one who dwells in the sacred sound 'Hing'.
नेतिनेतीतिगम्यश्च वैकुण्ठभजनप्रियः ।
गिरिशो गिरिजाकान्तो दुर्वासाः कविरङ्गिराः ॥ ६२ ॥
He who is attainable only by the process of negation (neti, neti), who loves the devotional service of Vaikuntha, who is the Lord of the mountains (Girish), the beloved of Girija (Parvati), Durvasa, the poet, and Angira.
भृगुर्वसिष्ठश्च्यवनो नारदस्तुम्बुरुर्हरः ।
विश्वक्षेत्रं विश्वबीजं विश्वनेत्रं च विश्वपः ॥ ६३ ॥
Bhrigu, Vashistha, Chyavana, Narada, Tumburu, Hara, the field of the universe, the seed of the universe, the eye of the universe, and the protector of the universe.
याजको यजमानश्च पावकः पितरस्तथा ।
श्रद्धा बुद्धिः क्षमा तन्द्रा मन्त्रो मन्त्रयिता सुरः ॥ ६४ ॥
The priest, the patron, the sacred fire, and the ancestors; faith, intellect, forgiveness, drowsiness, the mantra, the one who counsels, and the divine being.
राजेन्द्रो भूपती रूढो माली संसारसारथिः ।
नित्यः सम्पूर्णकामश्च भक्तकामधुगुत्तमः ॥ ६५ ॥
The King of kings, the Lord of the earth, the well-established one, the wearer of garlands, the Charioteer of the world, the Eternal one, the fulfiller of all desires, and the supreme bestower of boons to His devotees.
गणपः केशवो भ्राता पिता माताऽथ मारुतिः ।
सहस्रमूर्धा सहस्रास्यः सहस्राक्षः सहस्रपात् ॥ ६६ ॥
The leader of the Ganas, the Lord of creation (Keshava), the brother, the father, the mother, and the son of the Wind God (Maruti); the thousand-headed one, the thousand-faced one, the thousand-eyed one, and the thousand-footed one.
कामजित् कामदहनः कामः काम्यफलप्रदः ।
मुद्रोपहारी रक्षोघ्नः क्षितिभारहरो बलः ॥ ६७ ॥
Conqueror of lust, consumer of lust, the embodiment of desire, granter of desired fruits, carrier of the signet ring, destroyer of demons, remover of the earth’s burden, and the powerful one.
नखदंष्ट्रायुधो विष्णुभक्तो भक्ताभयप्रदः ।
दर्पहा दर्पदो दंष्ट्राशतमूर्तिर्मूर्तिमान् ॥ ६८ ॥
He who possesses nails and fangs as weapons, who is a devotee of Vishnu, who grants fearlessness to his devotees, who destroys arrogance, who bestows glory, who has a form consisting of a hundred fangs, and who is the embodiment of virtues.
महानिधिर्महाभागो महाभर्गो महर्धिदः ।
महाकारो महायोगी महातेजा महाद्युतिः ॥ ६९ ॥
He is the Great Treasure, the Highly Fortunate One, the Great Splendor, the Bestower of Great Prosperity; He is the Great Form, the Great Yogi, the Great Radiant One, and the Great Effulgence.
महाकर्मा महानादो महामन्त्रो महामतिः ।
महाशमो महोदारो महादेवात्मको विभुः ॥ ७० ॥
He who performs great deeds, who possesses a great resonant voice, who is the greatest mantra, and who is of great intellect. He who possesses great tranquility, who is most generous, who is the embodiment of the Great God (Shiva), and who is all-pervading.
रुद्रकर्मा क्रूरकर्मा रत्ननाभः कृतागमः ।
अम्भोधिलङ्घनः सिद्धः सत्यधर्मा प्रमोदनः ॥ ७१ ॥
He whose actions are like Rudra’s, whose deeds are formidable, whose navel is like a jewel, who is the creator of scriptures, who crossed the ocean, who is perfected, whose duty is truth, and who is the giver of joy.
जितामित्रो जयः सोमो विजयो वायुवाहनः ।
जीवो धाता सहस्रांशुर्मुकुन्दो भूरिदक्षिणः ॥ ७२ ॥
Conqueror of enemies, Victorious, the Moon-like, Success-bringer, Lord of the wind's vehicle, the Life-force, the Creator, the Thousand-rayed, the Giver of liberation, and the Greatly munificent.
सिद्धार्थः सिद्धिदः सिद्धः सङ्कल्पः सिद्धिहेतुकः ।
सप्तपातालचरणः सप्तर्षिगणवन्दितः ॥ ७३ ॥
He whose objects are accomplished, the bestower of success, the perfected one, whose resolve is immutable, the cause of all attainments. He who treads upon the seven nether worlds and is worshipped by the assembly of the seven sages.
सप्ताब्धिलङ्घनो वीरः सप्तद्वीपोरुमण्डलः ।
सप्ताङ्गराज्यसुखदः सप्तमातृनिषेवितः ॥ ७४ ॥
The hero who leaped across the seven oceans, whose mighty realm extends over the seven continents, the bestower of happiness in a kingdom with seven constituents, and who is served by the seven Divine Mothers.
सप्तलोकैकमकुटः सप्तहोत्रः स्वराश्रयः ।
सप्तसामोपगीतश्च सप्तपातालसंश्रयः ॥ ७५ ॥
He who is the sole crown of the seven worlds, the one invoked through the seven types of fire offerings, the shelter of the seven musical notes, the one praised by the seven Saman chants, and the refuge of the seven nether worlds.
सप्तच्छन्दोनिधिः सप्तच्छन्दः सप्तजनाश्रयः ।
मेधादः कीर्तिदः शोकहारी दौर्भाग्यनाशनः ॥ ७६ ॥
He is the treasure house of the seven Vedic meters, the embodiment of the seven meters, and the refuge of the seven worlds. He is the bestower of intelligence, the giver of fame, the remover of sorrow, and the destroyer of misfortune.
सर्ववश्यकरो गर्भदोषहा पुत्रपौत्रदः ।
प्रतिवादिमुखस्तम्भो रुष्टचित्तप्रसादनः ॥ ७७ ॥
He who controls all, destroys the defects of the womb, grants sons and grandsons, silences the mouths of opponents, and appeases those with an angry mind.
पराभिचारशमनो दुःखहा बन्धमोक्षदः ।
नवद्वारपुराधारो नवद्वारनिकेतनः ॥ ७८ ॥
The destroyer of others' black magic, the remover of sorrows, the bestower of liberation from bondage. The supporter of the nine-gated city (the body), the dweller within the nine-gated city.
नरनारायणस्तुत्यो नवनाथमहेश्वरः ।
मेखली कवची खड्गी भ्राजिष्णुर्जिष्णुसारथिः ॥ ७९ ॥
He who is praised by Nara and Narayana, the supreme Lord of the nine Nathas, he who wears a girdle, who is armored, who bears a sword, who is radiant, and whose charioteer is the conqueror (Arjuna).
बहुयोजनविस्तीर्णपुच्छः पुच्छहतासुरः ।
दुष्टहन्ता नियमिता पिशाचग्रहशातनः ॥ ८0 ॥
Whose tail is extended over many yojanas, who destroys demons with his tail, who is the slayer of the wicked, and the subduer who eradicates demonic spirits and possessions.
बालग्रहविनाशी च धर्मनेता कृपाकरः ।
उग्रकृत्यश्चोग्रवेग उग्रनेत्रः शतक्रतुः ॥ ८१ ॥
Destroyer of the influences of evil spirits affecting children, leader of Dharma, the compassionate one. The performer of fierce deeds, possessor of fierce speed, possessor of fierce eyes, and the one who is equal to Indra.
शतमन्युस्तुतः स्तुत्यः स्तुतिः स्तोता महाबलः ।
समग्रगुणशाली च व्यग्रो रक्षोविनाशनः ॥ ८२ ॥
Praised by Indra, worthy of praise, the praise itself, the praiser, possessor of great strength, endowed with all virtues, focused, and the destroyer of demons.
रक्षोऽग्निदावो ब्रह्नेशः श्रीधरो भक्तवत्सलः ।
मेघनादो मेघरूपो मेघवृष्टिनिवारणः ॥ ८३ ॥
He who is the forest fire to the demons, the Lord of Brahma, the bearer of Goddess Lakshmi, and affectionate to His devotees. He who is the roar of the clouds, whose form is the clouds, and who prevents the rain of the clouds.
मेघजीवनहेतुश्च मेघश्यामः परात्मकः ।
समीर्तनयो धाता तत्त्वविद्याविशारदः ॥ ८४ ॥
He who is the cause of life to the clouds, he who is dark-hued like the clouds, he who is the supreme soul, the son of the Wind-god, the supporter, and the expert in the knowledge of the Absolute Truth.
अमोघोऽमोघवृष्टिश्चाभीष्टदोऽनिष्टनाशनः ।
अर्थोऽनर्थापहारी च समर्थो रामसेवकः ॥ ८५ ॥
He is infallible, the granter of fruitful outcomes, the bestower of desires, and the destroyer of misfortunes. He is the meaning of all things, the remover of calamities, the capable one, and the servant of Rama.
अर्थी धन्योऽसुरारातिः पुण्डरीकाक्ष आत्मभूः ।
सङ्कर्षणो विशुद्धात्मा विद्याराशिः सुरेश्वरः ॥ ८६ ॥
The one who grants desires, the fortunate one, the enemy of demons, the lotus-eyed one, the self-existent one. The one who attracts all, the pure-souled one, the storehouse of knowledge, the lord of the gods.
अचलोद्धारको नित्यः सेतुकृद्रामसारथिः ।
आनन्दः परमानन्दो मत्स्यः कूर्मो निधिशयः ॥ ८७ ॥
The lifter of the mountain, eternal, the builder of the bridge, the charioteer of Rama, blissful, the supreme bliss, the fish (Matsya), the tortoise (Kurma), and the one who rests in the ocean.
वराहो नारसिंहश्च वामनो जमदग्निजः ।
रामः कृष्णः शिवो बुद्धः कल्की रामाश्रयो हरिः ॥ ८८ ॥
Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Jamadagnija (Parashurama), Rama, Krishna, Shiva, Buddha, Kalki, Ramashraya (the refuge of Rama), and Hari.
नन्दी भृङ्गी च चण्डी च गणेशो गणसेवितः ।
कर्माध्यक्षः सुरारामो विश्रामो जगतीपतिः ॥ ८९ ॥
Nandi, Bhringi, Chandi, Ganesha, and the one served by the ganas; the presiding lord of actions, the delight of the devas, the resting place, and the lord of the world.
जगन्नाथः कपीशश्च सर्वावासः सदाश्रयः ।
सुग्रीवादिस्तुतो दान्तः सर्वकर्मा प्लवङ्गमः ॥ ९० ॥
Lord of the universe, Lord of the monkeys, abode of all, eternal refuge. Praised by Sugriva and others, self-controlled, performer of all actions, one who traverses by jumping.
नखदारितरक्षश्च नखयुद्धविशारदः ।
कुशलः सुधनः शेषो वासुकिस्तक्षकस्तथा ॥ ९१ ॥
He who tore apart the demons with his nails, who is expert in combat with nails, who is skillful, possessor of great wealth, and who is (manifest as) Shesha, Vasuki, and Takshaka.
स्वर्णवर्णो बलाढ्यश्च पुरुजेताऽघनाशनः ।
कैवल्यदीपः कैवल्यो गरुडः पन्नगो गुरुः ॥ ९२ ॥
He is of golden complexion, powerful, the conqueror of foes, the destroyer of sins, the lamp of liberation, the embodiment of liberation, the Garuda, the serpent, and the preceptor.
क्लीक्लीरावहतारातिगर्वः पर्वतभेदनः ।
वज्राङ्गो वज्रवक्त्रश्च भक्तवज्रनिवारकः ॥ ९३ ॥
He who destroys the pride of enemies with the sound 'Klee', the breaker of mountains, he who has a body as hard as adamant, he who has a face as hard as adamant, and he who wards off the thunderbolts (misfortunes) of his devotees.
नखायुधो मणिग्रीवो ज्वालामाली च भास्करः ।
प्रौढप्रतापस्तपनो भक्ततापनिवारकः ॥ ९४ ॥
He who has sharp claws as weapons, who has a neck adorned with a jewel, who is garlanded with flames, and who is radiant like the sun. He who possesses immense prowess, who is scorching, and who is the remover of the sorrows of his devotees.
शरणं जीवनं भोक्ता नानाचेष्टोऽथ चञ्चलः ।
स्वस्थस्वस्वास्थ्यहा दुःखशातनः पवनात्मजः ॥ ९५ ॥
(He is) the refuge, the life, the enjoyer, the one with various activities, and the restless one. (He is) the one established in Himself, the destroyer of His own ill-health, the destroyer of sorrows, and the son of the Wind god.
पवनः पावनः कान्तो भक्ताङ्गः सहनो बलः ।
मेघनादरिपुर्मेघनादसंहतराक्षसः ॥ ९६ ॥
He is the Wind (Pavana), the Purifier (Pavana), the Beloved (Kanta), the One who resides in the hearts of devotees (Bhaktanga), the Patient One (Sahana), and the Powerful One (Bala). He is the enemy of Meghanada (Indrajit) and the destroyer of the demons slain by Meghanada.
क्षरोऽक्षरो विनीतात्मा वानरेशः सताङ्गतिः ।
श्रीकण्ठः शितिकण्ठश्च सहायः सहनायकः ॥ ९७ ॥
The Perishable, the Imperishable, the Humble-souled, the Lord of Monkeys, the Refuge of the virtuous, He whose throat is beautiful, He whose throat is dark (like Shiva), the Helper, and the Great Leader.
अस्थूलस्त्वनणुर्भर्गो देवसंसृतिनाशनः ।
अध्यात्मविद्यासारश्चाप्यध्यात्मकुशलः सुधीः ॥ ९८ ॥
He is neither gross nor subtle, He is the splendor (Bharga), the destroyer of the cycle of birth and death, the essence of spiritual wisdom, well-versed in spiritual knowledge, and the wise one.
अकल्मषः सत्यहेतुः सत्यदः सत्यगोचरः ।
सत्यगर्भः सत्यरूपः सत्यः सत्यपराक्रमः ॥ ९९ ॥
He who is stainless, the cause of truth, the bestower of truth, and the one realized through truth; He who contains truth within, whose form is truth, the embodiment of truth, and who possesses truthful prowess.
अञ्जनाप्राणलिङ्गं च वायुवंशोद्भवः श्रुतिः ।
भद्ररूपो रुद्ररूपः सुरूपश्चित्ररूपधृक् ॥ १०० ॥
He who is the life-linga of Anjana, born in the lineage of Vayu, the embodiment of the Vedas, of auspicious form, having the form of Rudra, beautiful, and one who assumes variegated forms.
मैनाकवन्दितः सूक्ष्मदर्शनो विजयो जयः ।
क्रान्तदिङ्मण्डलो रुद्रः प्रकटीकृतविक्रमः ॥ १०१ ॥
He who is worshipped by Mainaka, who has a subtle vision, who is victorious, who is the embodiment of victory, who has traversed the entire circle of directions, who is the manifestation of Rudra, and who has revealed his immense valor.
कम्बुकण्ठः प्रसन्नात्मा ह्रस्वनासो वृकोदरः ।
लम्बोष्ठः कुण्डली चित्रमाली योगविदां वरः ॥ १०२ ॥
He whose throat is shaped like a conch, he who has a pleasant disposition, he who has a short nose, he who has a wolf-like belly, he who has pendulous lips, he who wears earrings, he who is adorned with a wonderful garland, and he who is the best among those who know Yoga.
विपश्चित् कविरानन्दविग्रहोऽनल्पनाशनः ।
फाल्गुनीसूनुरव्यग्रो योगात्मा योगतत्परः ॥ १०३ ॥
The wise, the poet, the embodiment of bliss, the destroyer of great sins, the son of Phalguni (Arjuna), the composed, the essence of Yoga, and the one intent on Yoga.
योगविद्योगकर्ता च योगयोनिर्दिगम्बरः ।
अकारादिक्षकारान्तवर्णनिर्मितविग्रहः ॥ १०४ ॥
He is the knower of Yoga, the creator of Yoga, the source of Yoga, and He who is clad in the quarters (the sky). His form is composed of all the letters from 'A' to 'Ksha'.
उलूखलमुखः सिद्धसंस्तुतः परमेश्वरः ।
श्लिष्टजङ्घः श्लिष्टजानुः श्लिष्टपाणिः शिखाधरः ॥ १०५ ॥
He who has a face like a mortar, who is praised by the Siddhas, who is the Supreme Lord, whose shanks, knees, and hands are well-knit, and who wears a tuft of hair.
सुशर्माऽमितधर्मा च नारायणपरायणः ।
जिष्णुर्भविष्णु रोचिष्णुर्ग्रसिष्णुः स्थाणुरेव च ॥ १०६ ॥
He is of excellent conduct, of infinite righteousness, and devoted to Lord Narayana. He is ever-victorious, omnipresent, radiant, all-consuming, and eternal.
हरी रुद्रानुकृद्वृक्षकम्पनो भूमिकम्पनः ।
गुणप्रवाहः सूत्रात्मा वीतरागः स्तुतिप्रियः ॥ १०७ ॥
He who imitates Rudra, he who shakes trees, he who causes earthquakes, he who is the stream of qualities (Guna-pravaha), he who is the thread of the soul (Sutratma), he who is free from attachment, and he who is fond of praises.
नागकन्याभयध्वंसी कृतपूर्णः कपालभृत् ।
अनुकूलोऽक्षयोऽपायोऽनपायो वेदपारगः ॥ १०८ ॥
Destroyer of the fear of the Naga maidens, the fulfiller of all desires, the bearer of the skull, the favorable one, the eternal, the one who is the destruction of obstacles, the one who is free from danger, and the one who has mastered the Vedas.
अक्षरः पुरुषो लोकनाथस्त्र्यक्षः प्रभुर्दृढः ।
अष्टाङ्गयोगफलभूः सत्यसन्धः पुरुष्टुतः ॥ १०९ ॥
Imperishable, the Supreme Person, Lord of the worlds, three-eyed, powerful, firm, the fruit of the eight-fold yoga, true to his vows, and lauded by many.
श्मशानस्थाननिलयः प्रेतविद्रावणक्षमः ।
पञ्चाक्षरपरः पञ्चमातृको रञ्जनो ध्वजः ॥ ११० ॥
He who resides in the cremation ground, who is capable of driving away spirits, who is intent on the five-syllabled mantra, who is the source of the five mothers, who is the delighter, and who is the banner.
योगिनीवृन्दवन्द्यश्रीः शत्रुघ्नोऽनन्तविक्रमः ।
ब्रह्मचारीन्द्रियवपुर्धृतदण्डो दशात्मकः ॥ १११ ॥
He who is worshipped by the multitude of Yoginis, the destroyer of enemies, the possessor of infinite valor, the celibate whose body is controlled by the senses, the wielder of the staff, and the one who embodies the ten forms.
अप्रपञ्चः सदाचारः शूरसेनो विदारकः ।
बुद्धः प्रमोद आनन्दः सप्तजिह्वपतिर्धरः ॥ ११२ ॥
He who is beyond the phenomenal world, He who follows righteous conduct, He who has a brave army, He who destroys enemies, He who is enlightened, He who is joyful, He who is bliss itself, He who is the Lord of Agni (the seven-tongued one), and He who supports the world.
नवद्वारपुराधारः प्रत्यग्रः सामगायनः ।
षट्चक्रधामा स्वर्लोकभयहन्मानदो मदः ॥ ११३ ॥
The support of the city of nine gates, ever-fresh, the singer of Sama Veda. The abode of the six energy centers, the destroyer of the fear of the celestial world, the bestower of honor, and the source of joy.
सर्ववश्यकरः शक्तिरनन्तोऽनन्तमङ्गलः ।
अष्टमूर्तिधरो नेता विरूपः स्वरसुन्दरः ॥ ११४ ॥
He who brings all under control, the possessor of power, the infinite, the source of infinite auspiciousness, the one who manifests in eight forms, the leader, the one of unique form, and the one whose voice is beautiful.
धूमकेतुर्महाकेतुः सत्यकेतुर्महारथः ।
नन्दीप्रियः स्वतन्त्रश्च मेखली डमरुप्रियः ॥ ११५ ॥
He is the one who bears the banner of smoke, the one who bears the great banner, the one whose banner is truth, the great warrior, the one who is fond of Nandi, the independent one, the one who wears a waistband, and the one who is fond of the damaru drum.
लोहिताङ्गः समिद्वह्निः षडृतुः शर्व ईश्वरः ।
फलभुक् फलहस्तश्च सर्वकर्मफलप्रदः ॥ ११६ ॥
He who has reddish limbs, who is like the blazing fire, who is the six seasons, who is the destroyer, the Lord, the enjoyer of fruits, the one holding fruits in His hands, and the bestower of the fruits of all actions.
धर्माध्यक्षो धर्मफलो धर्मो धर्मप्रदोऽर्थदः ।
पञ्चविंशतितत्त्वज्ञस्तारको ब्रह्मतत्परः ॥ ११७ ॥
He is the Lord of Dharma, the fruit of Dharma, Dharma itself, the bestower of Dharma, and the bestower of wealth. He is the knower of the twenty-five principles, the Savior, and is deeply devoted to the Absolute Brahman.
त्रिमार्गवसतिर्भीमः सर्वदुष्टनिबर्हणः ।
ऊर्जःस्वामी जलस्वामी शूली माली निशाकरः ॥ ११८ ॥
He who dwells in the three paths, the terrible one, the destroyer of all the wicked, the Lord of energy, the Lord of the waters, the wielder of the spear, the wearer of garlands, and the moon-like one.
रक्ताम्बरधरो रक्तो रक्तमाल्यविभूषणः ।
वनमाली शुभाङ्गश्च श्वेतः श्वेताम्बरो युवा ॥ ११९ ॥
He who is clad in red garments, who is red in complexion, adorned with red garlands; who wears a forest-flower garland, possesses beautiful limbs, is white in complexion, clad in white garments, and is ever youthful.
जयोऽजेयपरीवारः सहस्रवदनः कविः ।
शाकिनीडाकिनीयक्षरक्षोभूतप्रभञ्जनः ॥ १२० ॥
Victorious, whose retinue is invincible, thousand-faced, the wise one, the destroyer of Shakinīs, Dākinīs, Yakshas, Rakshasas, and evil spirits.
सद्योजातः कामगतिर्ज्ञानमूर्तिर्यशस्करः ।
शम्भुतेजाः सार्वभौमो विष्णुभक्तः प्लवङ्गमः ॥ १२१ ॥
The One born instantly, the One of swift movement, the Embodiment of knowledge, the Giver of fame, the Radiance of Shambhu (Shiva), the Universal Monarch, the Devotee of Vishnu, and the One who moves by jumping (the monkey-god).
चतुर्णवतिमन्त्रज्ञः पौलस्त्यबलदर्पहा ।
सर्वलक्ष्मीप्रदः श्रीमानङ्गदप्रियवर्धनः ॥ १२२ ॥
He who knows the ninety-four mantras, he who destroys the strength and pride of the son of Pulastya (Ravana), he who grants all kinds of prosperity, he who is possessed of glory, and he who increases the love of Angada.
स्मृतिबीजं सुरेशानः संसारभयनाशनः ।
उत्तमः श्रीपरीवारः श्रीभूरुग्रश्च कामधुक् ॥ १२३ ॥
The source of memory, the Lord of the celestials, the destroyer of the fear of worldly existence, the supreme One, possessing the divine retinue, the glorious, the fierce, and the fulfiller of all desires.
सदागतिर्मातरिश्वा रामपादाब्जषट्पदः ।
नीलवर्णो नीलवर्णप्रियः सुहृत् ॥ १२४ ॥
He is the one who moves constantly (the wind), the life-breath of all beings, a bee at the lotus feet of Rama, blue-colored, lover of those who are blue-colored, and a true friend.
रामदूतो लोकबन्धुरन्तरात्मा मनोरमः ।
श्रीरामध्यानकृद्धीरः सदा किम्पुरुषस्तुतः ॥ १२५ ॥
The messenger of Rama, the friend of the world, the indwelling soul, the beautiful one, the one who meditates on Sri Rama, the courageous one, always praised by the Kimpurushas.
रामकार्यान्तरङ्गश्च शुद्धिर्गतिरनामयः ।
पुण्यश्लोकः परानन्दः परेशप्रियसारथिः ॥ १२६ ॥
He who is intimately involved in Rama’s work, the pure one, the goal, the ailment-free, he of blessed renown, supreme bliss, and the beloved charioteer of the Supreme Lord.
लोकस्वामी मुक्तिदाता सर्वकारणकारणः ।
महाबलो महावीरः पारावारगतिर्गुरुः ॥ १२७ ॥
The Lord of the worlds, the bestower of liberation, the cause of all causes. The possessor of immense strength, the great hero, the one who can cross the ocean, the preceptor.
तारको भगवांस्त्राता स्वस्तिदाता सुमङ्गलः ।
समस्तलोकसाक्षी च समस्तसुरवन्दितः ।
सीतासमेतश्रीरामपादसेवाधुरन्धरः ॥ १२८ ॥
The Savior, the Blessed One, the Protector, the Giver of well-being, the All-auspicious, the Witness of all worlds, the One worshipped by all gods, and the foremost in the service of the feet of Shri Rama accompanied by Sita.
इदं नामसहस्रं तु योऽधीते प्रत्यहं नरः ।
दुःखौघो नश्यते क्षिप्रं सम्पत्तिर्वर्धते चिरम् ॥ १२९ ॥
Whoever reads this thousand-name hymn daily, their multitude of sorrows is quickly destroyed, and their prosperity grows forever.
वश्यं चतुर्विधं तस्य भवत्येव न संशयः ।
राजानो राजपुत्राश्च राजकीयाश्च मन्त्रिणः ॥ १३० ॥
The four types of control surely become his, without a doubt; kings, princes, state officials, and ministers.
त्रिकालं पठनादस्य दृश्यन्ते च त्रिपक्षतः ।
अश्वत्थमूले जपतां नास्ति वैरिकृतं भयम् ॥ १३१ ॥
By reciting this [stotram] during the three times [of day] for three fortnights, [auspicious results] are seen. For those who chant it at the base of an Ashvattha tree, there is no fear caused by enemies.
त्रिकालपठनादस्य सिद्धिः स्यात् करसंस्थिता ।
ब्राह्मे मुहूर्ते चोत्थाय प्रत्यहं यः पठेन्नरः ॥ १३२ ॥
By reciting this (hymn) during the three junctures of the day, success will be within one's reach. A person who rises during the Brahma Muhurta (the hour before dawn) and recites it daily (attains this).
ऐहिकामुष्मिकान् सोऽपि लभते नात्र संशयः ।
सङ्ग्रामे सन्निविष्टानां वैरिविद्रावणं भवेत् ॥ १३३ ॥
He also attains all worldly and otherworldly fruits, there is no doubt in this. For those engaged in battle, it becomes the destroyer of enemies.
ज्वरापस्मारशमनं गुल्मादिव्याधिवारणम् ।
साम्राज्यसुखसम्पत्तिदायकं जपतां नृणाम् ॥ १३४ ॥
It alleviates fevers and epilepsy, wards off diseases like abdominal tumors, and bestows the happiness of imperial prosperity upon those who chant it.
य इदं पठते नित्यं पाठयेद्वा समाहितः ।
सर्वान् कामानवाप्नोति वायुपुत्रप्रसादतः ॥ १३५ ॥
Whoever reads this daily, or causes it to be read with a focused mind, attains all their desires by the grace of the son of Vayu.
इति श्री हनुमत् सहस्रनाम स्तोत्रम् ।
