I bow again and again to Sri Rama, the remover of all calamities, the bestower of all prosperity, and the one who is the delight of all the worlds.

Whoever reads this hymn of the Supreme Lord Rama with a joyful mind, whether at dawn or at dusk...

...he crosses the ocean of worldly existence and all calamities, and attains union with Rama by the grace of the God of gods.

When faced with obstacles like imprisonment or great danger, whoever reads this Apaduddharaka Stotram properly...

...combining it with the Anushtup mantra and remembering the Lord with every verse, he is freed from all troubles in seven days, without doubt.

By chanting it thirty-two times daily with firm resolve, or by looking at the sun in the month of Vaishakha and chanting it a hundred times daily...

...he becomes wealthy like Kubera (Dhanada), there is no doubt about this. What more is there to say? Whatever a man desires...

...he attains all those desires by this hymn. Through the method of Yantra worship, japa, homa, and tarpanam...

...whoever performs this will quickly attain all desires. Having lived happily in this world, he will be liberated in the hereafter.
