જગજ્જાલપાલં ચલત્કણ્ઠમાલંશરચ્ચન્દ્રભાલં મહાદૈત્યકાલં
નભોનીલકાયં દુરાવારમાયંસુપદ્માસહાયમ્ ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥1॥
I worship, I worship Him who is the protector of the world's net (the universe), adorned with a moving garland around His neck, whose forehead is like the autumn moon, the demise of great demons, whose body is the color of the blue sky, whose Maya (illusory power) is irresistible, and who is accompanied by the beautiful Padma (Lakshmi).
સદામ્ભોધિવાસં ગલત્પુષ્પહાસંજગત્સન્નિવાસં શતાદિત્યભાસં
ગદાચક્રશસ્ત્રં લસત્પીતવસ્ત્રંહસચ્ચારુવક્ત્રં ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥2॥
I worship, I worship Him who ever resides in the ocean, whose smile is like blossoming flowers, who is the true abode of the universe, luminous like a hundred suns, who holds mace and discus as weapons, adorned with shining yellow garments, and who has a beautiful, smiling face.
રમાકણ્ઠહારં શ્રુતિવ્રાતસારંજલાન્તર્વિહારં ધરાભારહારં
ચિદાનન્દરૂપં મનોજ્ઞસ્વરૂપંધ્રુતાનેકરૂપં ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥3॥
I worship, I worship Him who is the necklace on Lakshmi's neck (or adored by Lakshmi), the essence of all Vedic scriptures, who sports within the waters, the remover of the Earth's burden, whose form is consciousness and bliss, whose form is enchanting, and who assumes many forms.
જરાજન્મહીનં પરાનન્દપીનંસમાધાનલીનં સદૈવાનવીનં
જગજ્જન્મહેતું સુરાનીકકેતુંત્રિલોકૈકસેતું ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥4॥
I worship, I worship Him who is devoid of old age and birth, full of supreme bliss, absorbed in deep meditation/equanimity, always fresh and ever-new, the cause of the universe's origin, the banner/chief of the hosts of gods, and the sole bridge of the three worlds.
કૃતામ્નાયગાનં ખગાધીશયાનંવિમુક્તેર્નિદાનં હરારાતિમાનં
સ્વભક્તાનુકૂલં જગદ્વ્રુક્ષમૂલંનિરસ્તાર્તશૂલં ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥5॥
I worship, I worship Him for whom the Vedas are sung, whose vehicle is the lord of birds (Garuda), the source of liberation, the remover of the pride of foes, favorable to His devotees, the root of the world-tree, and who removes the pains of the distressed.
સમસ્તામરેશં દ્વિરેફાભકેશંજગદ્વિમ્બલેશં હ્રુદાકાશદેશં
સદા દિવ્યદેહં વિમુક્તાખિલેહંસુવૈકુણ્ઠગેહં ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥6॥
I worship, I worship Him who is the lord of all gods, whose hair is like black bees, a mere reflection/part of whom is the universe, residing in the space of the heart, always possessing a divine body, free from all worldly desires/endeavors, and whose home is the beautiful Vaikuntha.
સુરાલિબલિષ્ઠં ત્રિલોકીવરિષ્ઠંગુરૂણાં ગરિષ્ઠં સ્વરૂપૈકનિષ્ઠં
સદા યુદ્ધધીરં મહાવીરવીરંમહામ્ભોધિતીરં ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥7॥
I worship, I worship Him who is the most powerful among the hosts of gods, the most excellent in the three worlds, the most venerable among preceptors, solely devoted to His own inherent nature, always brave in battle, the hero of great heroes, and dwelling on the shore of the great ocean.
રમાવામભાગં તલાનગ્રનાગંકૃતાધીનયાગં ગતારાગરાગં
મુનીન્દ્રૈઃ સુગીતં સુરૈઃ સંપરીતંગુણૌધૈરતીતં ભજેઽહં ભજેઽહં॥8॥
I worship, I worship Him who has Lakshmi on His left side, resting on the primeval serpent (Ananta), to whom sacrifices are offered, free from attachment and desires, well-praised by the chief of sages, surrounded by gods, and transcending all qualities (gunas).
॥ ફલશ્રુતિ ॥
ઇદં યસ્તુ નિત્યં સમાધાય ચિત્તંપઠેદષ્ટકં કણ્ઠહારમ્ મુરારેઃ
સ વિષ્ણોર્વિશોકં ધ્રુવં યાતિ લોકંજરાજન્મશોકં પુનર્વિન્દતે નો॥9॥
He who, with a concentrated mind, daily recites this octet, which is a necklace for Murari (Vishnu), he surely attains the sorrow-free realm of Vishnu and does not again experience the sorrow of old age and birth.
