We meditate upon the essence of the Vedas, the creator of the universe; may we dwell upon the golden-wombed One.

We realize the One with diamond-hard claws; may we meditate upon the One with sharp fangs.

We realize the Sun God, the illuminator; may we meditate upon the One who radiates great splendor.

May that effulgent Aditya (the Sun God) inspire and illuminate our intellect.

We meditate upon the universal fire, Vaishvanara, who manifests as the divine flame; may we be granted the wisdom to perceive his brilliance.

May that sacred Fire (Agni) inspire and illuminate our intellect.

We meditate upon the daughter of the sage Katyayana, the eternal virgin Goddess; may we be granted the wisdom to realize her divinity.
