acyutānanta govinda viṣṇo nārāyaṇā'mṛta
O Infallible, Infinite, Govinda, Vishnu, Narayana, source of immortality.
rogānme nāśayā'śeṣānāśu dhanvantare hare |
O Lord Dhanvantari, You who take away all suffering, please destroy all my diseases quickly.
ārogyaṃ dīrghamāyuṣyaṃ balaṃ tejo dhiyaṃ śriyaṃ
Grant me health, longevity, strength, radiance, wisdom, and prosperity.
svabhaktebhyo'nugṛhṇantaṃ vande dhanvantariṃ harim ||
śaṅkhaṃ cakraṃ jalaukāṃ dadhadamṛtaghaṭaṃ cārudorbhiścaturbhiḥ |
I bow to Lord Dhanvantari, the remover of sins, who bestows grace upon His devotees. He holds a conch, a discus, a leech, and a beautiful pot of nectar in His four arms.
sūkṣmasvacchātihṛdyāṃśuka parivilasanmaulimambhojanetram |
He is adorned in fine, transparent, and heart-pleasing garments, with a shining crown and eyes like lotus petals.
kālāmbhodojjvalāṅgaṃ kaṭitaṭavilasaccārupītāmbarāḍhyam |
His body glows with the brilliance of a dark rain-bearing cloud, and His waist is gracefully draped in beautiful yellow silk.
vande dhanvantariṃ taṃ nikhilagadavanaprauḍhadāvāgnilīlam ||
dhanvantarerimaṃ ślokaṃ bhaktyā nityaṃ paṭhanti ye |
I bow to that Lord Dhanvantari, whose very nature is like a powerful forest fire that consumes the entire forest of human ailments. Those who recite this hymn to Dhanvantari with devotion daily:
anārogyaṃ na teṣāṃ syāt sukhaṃ jīvanti te ciram ||

Will never suffer from illness and shall live happily for a long time.

Om, salutations to the Lord, the great Sudarshana, Vasudeva, and Dhanvantari, who holds the pot of nectar in His hands. You are the destroyer of all fears, the remover of all diseases, the Lord of the three worlds, and the treasure of the three worlds. You are the embodiment of Lord Mahavishnu and Lord Dhanvantari; Salutations to You, the wielder of the wheel of medicinal healing, Lord Narayana.
oṃ vāsudevāya vidmahe sudhāhastāya dhīmahi |
Om, we meditate upon Lord Vasudeva; we contemplate Him who holds the nectar of immortality in His hands.
tanno dhanvantariḥ pracodayāt |
