ஶ்ரீ ஆம்ஜநேயம் ப்ரஸந்நாம்ஜநேயம்
Salutations to Anjaneya, who is the gracious Anjaneya.
ப்ரபாதிவ்யகாயம் ப்ரகீர்தி ப்ரதாயம்
The one whose body is radiant and divine, and who bestows fame.
பஜே வாயுபுத்ரம் பஜே வாலகாத்ரம் பஜேஹம் பவித்ரம்
I worship the son of the Wind, I worship the one with a tail, I worship the holy one.
பஜே ஸூர்யமித்ரம் பஜே ருத்ரரூபம்
I worship the friend of the sun, I worship the one who has the form of Rudra.
பஜே ப்ரஹ்மதேஜம் படம்சுந் ப்ரபாதம்பு ஸாயம்த்ரமுந்
I worship the effulgence of Brahman, both in the morning and in the evening.
நீநாமஸம்கீர்தநல் ஜேஸி
Having performed the chanting of Your holy names.
நீ ரூபு வர்ணிம்சி நீமீத நே தம்டகம் பொக்கடிந் ஜேய நோஹிந்சி
Desiring to describe Your form and compose a Dandakam about You.
நீ மூர்திகாவிம்சி நீஸும்தரம் பெம்சி நீ தாஸதாஸும்டநை
Having made You my idol, having contemplated Your beauty, and having become a servant of Your servants.
ராமபக்தும்டநை நிந்நு நேகொல்செதந்
I shall worship You as a devotee of Rama.
(நீ) நந் கடாக்ஷம்புநந் ஜூசிதே வேடுகல் சேஸிதே
If You look with Your sidelong glance and bestow Your grace upon me.
நா மொராலிம்சிதே நந்நு ரக்ஷிம்சிதே
Having listened to my prayer, do you not protect me?
அம்ஜநாதேவி கர்பாந்வயா தேவ
O Lord, who was born to Anjanadevi.
நிந்நெம்ச நேநெம்தவாடந்
Who am I to think of You?
தயாஶாலிவை ஜூசியுந் தாதவை ப்ரோசியுந்
Looking with compassion and protecting by giving.
தக்கரந் நில்சியுந் தொல்லி ஸுக்ரீவுகுந்-மம்த்ரிவை
Having stood near, you were the minister to the ancient Sugriva.
ஸ்வாமி கார்யார்தமை யேகி
Having gone for the sake of the Lord's work
ஶ்ரீராம ஸௌமித்ருலம் ஜூசி வாரிந்விசாரிம்சி
Looking at Rama and the son of Sumitra, and contemplating them.
ஸர்வேஶு பூஜிம்சி யப்பாநுஜும் பம்டு காவிம்சி
Having worshipped the Lord of all, and having made the Sun's son (Hanuman) a servant.
யவ்வாலிநிந் ஜம்பிம்சி காகுத்த்ஸ திலகுந் [க்ரு'பாத்ரு'ஷ்டி] தயாத்ரு'ஷ்டி வீக்ஷிம்சி
Having killed Vali, the jewel of the Kakutstha dynasty looked upon him with a compassionate glance.
கிஷ்கிம்தகேதெம்சி ஶ்ரீராம கார்யார்தமை லம்க கேதெம்சியுந்
Having reached Kishkindha for the task of Sri Rama, and having reached Lanka.
லம்கிணிந் ஜம்பியுந் லம்கநுந் கால்சியுந்
Having conquered Lankini and having burnt Lanka.
யப்பூமிஜம் ஜூசி யாநம்தமுப்பொம்கி யாயும்கரம்பிச்சி
Having seen the one born of the earth, overflowing with joy, and having given her a ring.
யாரத்நமுந் தெச்சி ஶ்ரீராமுநகுந்நிச்சி ஸம்தோஷமுந்ஜேஸி
Having brought the jewel and given it to Sri Rama, and having caused Him joy
ஸுக்ரீவுநிந் யம்கதுந் ஜாம்பவம்து [ந்நலுந்நீலுலந்] வீராதுலந் கூடி
Together with the heroes Sugriva, Angada, Jambavan, Nala, and Nila.
யாஸேதுவுந் தாடி வாநருல்மூகலை பெந்மூகலை
Having crossed the bridge, the Vanaras gathered in a great swarm.
[யாதைத்யுலந்] தைத்யுலந் த்ரும்சகா
ராவணும்டம்த காலாக்நி ருத்ரும்டுகா கோரி [வச்சி]
Ravana came, wishing to be like the fire of final destruction (Kalagni Rudra).
ப்ரஹ்மாம்டமைநட்டி யா ஶக்திநிந்வைசி யாலக்ஷணுந் மூர்சநொம்திம்பகா
Having cast that power which is the entire universe, that Lakshmana fell into a swoon.
நப்புடே போயி [நீவு] ஸம்ஜீவிநிந்தெச்சி ஸௌமித்ரிகிந்நிச்சி ப்ராணம்பு ரக்ஷிம்பக
Go immediately, bring the Sanjeevani herb, give it to Saumitri (Lakshmana), and save his life.
கும்பகர்ணாதுல ந்வீருலம் போர ஶ்ரீராம பாணாக்நி
The arrows of Lord Rama burned warriors like Kumbhakarna.
வாரம்தரிந் ராவணுந் ஜம்பகா
To slay Ravana, who possessed boons.
நம்த லோகம்பு லாநம்தமை யும்ட
May the entire world be blissful.
நவ்வேலநு ந்விபீஷுணுந் வேடுகந் தோடுகந் வச்சி பட்டாபிஷேகம்பு சேயிம்சி,
Having arrived with great joy to perform the coronation of the one who is the refuge of the three worlds,
ஸீதாமஹாதேவிநிந் தெச்சி [ஶ்ரீராமுகுந்நிச்சி] ஶ்ரீராமுதோ சேர்சி,
Having brought Sita Mahadevi, [having given her to Sri Rama], and having united her with Sri Rama,
யம்தந்நயோத்யாபுரிந்ஜொச்சி பட்டாபிஷேகம்பு ஸம்ரம்பமையுந்ந
Entering the city of Ayodhya, there was great enthusiasm for the coronation.
நீகந்ந நாகெவ்வருந் கூர்மி லேரம்சு மந்நிம்சிநந்
Thinking that there is no one else as dear to me as You, You have honored me.
ஶ்ரீராமபக்தி ப்ரஶஸ்தம்புகா நிந்நு [ஸேவிம்சி] நீநாம ஸம்கீர்தநல் சேஸிதி
Having served you with praise-worthy devotion to Sri Rama, I have sung the praises of your name.
பாபமுல்ல்பாயுநே பயமுலுந் தீருநே பாக்யமுல் கல்குநே
Sins will be washed away, fears will vanish, and prosperity will be attained.
ஸகல ஸாம்ராஜ்யமுல் கல்கு ஸம்பத்துலுந் கல்குநோ
May all empires and all riches be attained.
வாநராகார யோ பக்த மம்தார யோ புண்ய ஸம்சார யோ தீர யோ வீர
O One with a monkey form, O bestower of boons to devotees, O One whose movements are auspicious, O courageous One, O heroic One.
நீவே ஸமஸ்தம்பு நீவே மஹாபலமுகா வெலஸி
You are everything, and you shine as the ultimate fruit.
யாதாரக ப்ரஹ்ம மம்த்ரம்பு [படியிம்சுசுந்] ஸம்தாநமுந் சேயுசு ஸ்திரம்முகந்
Chanting the Taraka Brahma Mantra and focusing with a steady mind.
வஜ்ரதேஹம்புநுந் தால்சி ஶ்ரீராம ஶ்ரீராமயம்சுந் மநஃபூதமைந எப்புடுந் தப்பகந்
Having assumed a diamond-like body, ever chanting "Sri Rama, Sri Rama" with a purified mind, without fail.
தலதுநா ஜிஹ்வயம்தும்டி நீ தீர்கதேஹம்மு த்ரைலோக்ய ஸம்சாரிவை
Dwelling upon my tongue, your cosmic form traverses the three worlds.
ராமநாமாம்கித த்யாநிவை ப்ரஹ்மவை ப்ரஹ்மதேஜம்புநந் ரௌத்ரநீஜ்வால
The meditator marked by the name of Rama is indeed Brahman, the effulgence of Brahman, with the intensity of a fierce flame.
கல்லோல ஹாவீர ஹநுமம்த ௐகார ஶப்தம்புலந் க்ரூரகர்ம க்ரஹ பூத ப்ரேதம்புலந் பெந்
Oh mighty Hanuman, whose roaring sound like ocean waves terrifies and drives away the cruel-acting planets, ghosts, and spirits.
பிஶாசம்புலந் ஶாகிநீ டாகிநீ மோஹிநி த்யாதுலந் காலிதய்யம்புலந்
The demons, Shakinis, Dhakinis, Mohinis, and other evil spirits.
நீது வாலம்புநந் ஜுட்டி நேலம்படம் கொட்டி நீமுஷ்டி காதம்புலந்
Having coiled your tail, having struck me to the ground, and by the blows of your fist.
பாஹுதம்டம்புலந் ரோமகம்டம்புலந் த்ரும்சி காலாக்நி
Severing the arms and limbs, like the fire of destruction.
ருத்ரும்டவை நீவு ப்ரஹ்ம ப்ரபாபாஸிதம்பைந நீதிவ்ய தேஜம்புநுந் ஜூசி
Having seen Your divine brilliance, which is luminous like that of Brahman, and realizing that You are Rudra.
[ராரோரி] ராரா நாமுத்து நரஸிம்ஹ யந்சுந் தயாத்ரு'ஷ்டி
"Come, come, dear Narasimha," saying thus, with a compassionate glance.
வீக்ஷிம்சி நந்நேலு நாஸ்வாமியோ யாம்ஜநேயா
Look upon me and rule over me, my Lord Anjaneya.
நமஸ்தே ஸதா ப்ரஹ்மசாரீ
Salutations to the eternally celibate one.
நமஸ்தே வ்ரதபூர்ணஹாரி நமஸ்தே நமோவாயுபுத்ரா நமஸ்தே நமோ நமஃ
Salutations to the fulfiller of vows, salutations to the son of the wind, salutations, salutations to you.
