Lord Shani

śani graha pañcaratna stotram

(Shani Graha Pancharatna Stotram in English (IAST))

Traditional

The Shani Graha Pancharatna Stotram is a revered devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Shani, the deity representing the planet Saturn in Vedic astrology. Composed of five powerful verses, this stotra praises the divine qualities of Shani as the son of Surya and the provider of justice. Chanting this hymn with devotion is believed to mitigate the malefic effects of Saturn, alleviate suffering during difficult astrological periods like Sade Sati, and bestow inner peace, discipline, and prosperity upon the practitioner. It serves as a spiritual tool to seek the blessings and protection of the divine disciplinarian.
