pitṛ stotraṃ 2 (garuḍa purāṇam)

(Pitri Stotram (Garuda Puranam) in English (IAST))

From Garuda Puranam

Found within the Garuda Purana, this sacred hymn is dedicated to the Pitrus, the divine ancestors who bestow blessings and fulfill desires. The stotra acknowledges their luminous nature, omniscience, and spiritual authority as guides to sages and celestial beings. Reciting this prayer with devotion is considered a powerful way to seek ancestral blessings, resolve pitru dosha, and ensure the spiritual liberation and peace of departed souls. It serves as a medium to express profound gratitude to one’s lineage, fostering harmony, protection, and prosperity within the family through the grace of the ancestral spirits.
