From Skanda Purana

The Katyayani Mantra is a powerful invocation dedicated to Goddess Katyayani, the sixth form of Goddess Durga worshipped during Navaratri. Originating from the Skanda Purana, this mantra celebrates her role as a warrior goddess who destroys ignorance and negativity. Traditionally chanted to seek the blessings of the Divine Mother, it is particularly revered by devotees seeking marital harmony and the removal of obstacles in finding a suitable life partner. Regular recitation of this sacred hymn is believed to instill courage, purity of heart, and spiritual strength, guiding the practitioner toward liberation and inner peace.
