ଅପରାଧ କ୍ଷମାପଣ ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍

O Supreme Goddess, thousands of offenses are committed by me day and night. Please forgive me, considering me to be your humble servant.

I do not know how to invoke you, nor do I know how to perform the ritual of farewell. I do not even know how to worship you properly; please forgive me, O Supreme Goddess.

O Goddess of the gods, whatever worship I have performed—devoid of proper mantras, rituals, and devotion—may it be rendered complete and perfect by your grace.

Even after committing hundreds of sins, one who utters "Jagadamba" (Mother of the Universe) attains a state that is difficult even for Brahma and the other gods to achieve.

I am a sinner who has sought refuge in you, O Mother of the Universe. Now, please have compassion on me and do with me as you please.

Whatever I have done with deficiency or excess due to ignorance, forgetfulness, or confusion, or whatever I have done incorrectly, please forgive it all, O Supreme Goddess.

O Goddess who fulfills all desires, Mother of the Universe, whose form is Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss, please accept this worship offered with love and be pleased with me, O Supreme Goddess.

Whatever letters or words I have missed, and whatever shortcomings there are in the intonation or meter of my prayers, please forgive it all, O Goddess; be pleased with me, O Supreme Goddess.

You are the Protector of that which is the most secret of secrets. Please accept the prayers I have offered; by your grace, O Supreme Goddess, may I attain spiritual perfection.

The Goddess exists in all forms, and the entire universe is pervaded by the Goddess. Therefore, I bow to you, the Supreme Goddess who manifests as the entire universe.
